Craig Rettig Ever since I heard about this on Sons of Metal podcast, I've enjoyed it. Soaring, epic, and everything that's right with this genre... plus bagpipes. Favorite track: Tears Of A Nation.

PaganMetalEvie Amazing album. I love the Scottish folk elements present in Saor's music, especially fond of the use of fiddle, bagpipes and flute. I'd recommend this album for fans of atmospheric black metal bands like Summoning, Sojourner, Agalloch, and fans of folk melody embellishment similar to Eluveitie. Favorite track: Guardians.

Josh Gregory Saor has mastered their own particular style of black metal. The bar is set pretty high. I would hate to try to follow them. To always be compared to but never as good. Favorite track: Hearth.
